David Starr, James Madison University alum with a BBA in Finance and a minor in Physics, visited campus last week to discuss the energy industry, energy usage, entrepreneurship, venture capitalism and the emerging field of clean-tech startups and how they have revolutionized the industry.
David started his first auto-detailing business in the Richmond, Virginia, area when he was seventeen and started a second business, a diesel engine repair service, soon after. After graduation, he joined Strategic Enterprises (SE) Solutions, a federal government consulting firm, in Reston, Virginia.
