Energy Xtreme would like to take a few minutes to congratulate ‘Kids in a New Groove’ on the receipt of their most recent grant from Applied Materials Foundation!  Kids in a New Groove (K.I.N.G.), is a 501c3 non-profit that provides private music instruction to kids in foster care by matching them with qualified music instructors.  Energy Xtreme is proud to be a founding member of the organization, and many of Energy Xtreme’s team members are proud volunteers and supporters as well.  The grant from Applied Materials Foundation will help KING continue to expand their program in the Austin area.
The positive life-enhancing changes that KING has witnessed in their students have amazed the teachers in their program.  As one KING teacher has noted, “other students look at me as one more thing to do this week.  My KING student has told me that I make her week.”
